 In a public consultation meeting organised by the Borough in June 2008, as part of the Borough’s programme for town centre regeneration in Hanwell, one of the top priorities identified was that an association of traders should be established. The Hanwell Association of Traders (HAT) was formed shortly thereafter and now has 40 members who meet quarterly to discuss current issues in the town centre.
